I learned today that my child is TRULY a boy. We went to Eric's aunts house for an Easter party. We had a really good time. We chased goats and cows and tried to pull ribbons off of them and there was money for the prizes. Awesome right? It was really fun. It was funner than it sounds I promise. Well, we were outside doing this and Tyson got DIRTY. Holy Crap. I really didn't think a child could get this dirty and still enjoy it. He was picking up dirt by the handfuls and putting it in a little car and then sitting in it and drove the car around. Then he needed to add more dirt to the car. And a little more dirt. Tyson stopped long enough to enjoy riding the horse and then enjoyed the dirt again. But not before he had to kiss the horse. Really whose boy is this? I asked if I could bath him and wash his clothes before I took him home (no joke). He licked his lips which turned to mud on his face. Disgusting. Eric's aunt just reassured me it was fine, he's a boy, he is building up his immune system. Yuck still I didn't really care. Dirt all over. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. But my awesome sister in law cleaned him up so he wasn't so bad so he could ride inside of the car instead of in the trunk. Side note - Tyson calls a horse a ho. He also enjoys saying ooh la la. So we were joking that he is going to go to nursery tomorrow and tell everyone that he rode a ho last night ooh la la.

Christmas 2011
This year Christmas was a bit different. We moved exactly one week before Christmas. I know call us idiots. We were. Lots and Lots of people, more like everyone I told that we were moving that close to Christmas, would ask us if we were setting up a Christmas tree and I started replying I don't know its a lot of work blah blah blah. Well everyone suggested putting up the tree because we had Tyson and he really needed a tree for Christmas. Well being a little stubborn like I am I decided BULL CRAP I am NOT putting up a tree and trying to unpack and attend family and work Christmas parties, and finish up some shopping. But mainly it was because people were telling to put it up. I will show them I thought make my OWN grown up decision. Right? No Christmas tree here at this house. So we made a Christmas tree for Family Home Evening out of paper and hung it on the wall. That was our one and only Christmas decoration. It was cute I thought. Who needed anything else? Well looking back now...........I WISH I WOULD HAVE PUT MY DAMN TREE UP. I didn't really enjoy Christmas this year. It just felt like another day. Nothing special about it. No clean up the week after. Nothing. It was LAME. I will be putting up a tree this next year and possibly put it up in October and take it down in February. We shall see. Tyson enjoyed his presents that he got from Santa. But Santa was not very awesome this year not one toy had batteries. It was great for mom and dad but I think Tyson was pretty bored with his gifts. Oh well we hurried out the door anyway to families. Cheers to a better Christmas next year!!
We Moved!
We decided to be grown ups and buy a house therefore, we moved back in December. Don't judge me that I NOW blogging about it. We love our new house. We are trying to love our new neighbors and new ward. Tyson likes our new house now. He still calls it his new house once in a while. But for about the first month he didn't like it so well. The first week was the WORST. Oh my gosh. I was beginning to wonder what the crap I got myself into. Tyson cried each and every night for a solid week that he wanted to go home. Each night I would remind him we moved, his bed is at the new house, so are his toys, mom and dad moved also, blah blah blah blah. Not much worked only crying himself to sleep worked. Even in the middle of the night he would wake up and cry wanting to go home. Well on about the 10th night of Tyson waking up at 2am and crying to go home I lost it. No more patients. I told him something to the fact that damn it we moved now live with it. When you get big you can do what you want when you want but for now we live here and go back to bed. He is doing MUCH better now and enjoys his "new house" Except for the fact he got a big boy bed and can get out of it at night and comes to climb into bed with us. Well two chubby people and a 2 year old does not mix with in a queen size bed so we upgraded to a king bed. Side note we should have upgraded a long time ago. We LOVE it. Also, shortly after we moved we found out our dishwasher STUNK and also leaked water. Our fridge froze things on the top shelf and the bottom shelf things spoiled because it wasn't cold enough. Then one night while cooking dinner fire shot out of the back unit on the stove. AWESOME. Not just once about 7 times. Eric thought it was great. I was freaking out grabbing for my phone 'just in case'. Well for Christmas Eric and I got and are still enjoying a new dishwasher, a new fridge, and a new stove. Welcome to owning a home right?

Halloween 2011
Tyson was a ninja for Halloween this year. He really enjoyed going trick or treating this year. He LOVES his treats that he got. His favorite are the suckers and my least favorite are the suckers. I HATE the sticky mess. Nothing is worse to me than being sticky. Tyson enjoyed going trick or treating with some cousins. Eric took Tyson along with Tyson's cousins and aunts. Appartently they went to a house and Tyson dug to the bottom of the bowl to get the best treat which took a minute and then as the guy was shutting the door Tyson stuck his head in the door and said "Two please?" Nothing like begging for candy huh?
Toddler Swap
I started a toddler bag swap. It is SO much fun. I found the idea off of my cousin's blog and she found it off of a random blog, I think. Anyway, it has been way fun. We met for the first time last week and I got some dang fun activities. Here is the link to the blog with the idea if your interested: http://therigneys.wordpress.com/2011/08/26/toddler-busy-bag-swap/

Visiting Family
We took a vacation and went and visited my sister and her family. We had tons of fun. We went swimming, shopping, a few of us went golfing (don't know who), ate, and drink LOTS of diet coke. They have a gas station by their house that had fountain drinks for 69 cents. We went there a lot. Tyson LOVED playing in the water and also going for rides in Miranda's jeep. Thanks Miranda for taking him on so many rides. We went to this bridge where in one spot you can be in Iowa and Nebraska at the same time. We tried to get all the kids to put one foot in Iowa and one foot in Nebraska and take their picture but one child was throwing a fit and wouldn't do it. I have no idea who's two year old is in the back throwing a fit but he was. We had lots of fun and already want to go back.

Happy Birthday Ty!
Happy Birthday!! Tyson turned 2 today. And boy oh boy did he ever know what to do when he turned 2. The terrible 2's hit hard today. He is a PRO at temper tantrums. But he did enjoy his day. He got a fun new sand box which he loves and I don't so much! He also got a rug with a bunch of cars that he played with most of the day. Tyson enjoyed eating a french fry with about a pound of ketchup at McDonalds. We love you Ty!

Random Pictuers
My child might be a little weird. He likes Spaghettio's ALOT. He couldn't even wait to get his coat off when we got home from Church before he just needed some. I found this boom box for 50 cents at a garage sale last week and Tyson is in love with it. He carries it around and talks into the antenna like a microphone. Tyson likes to walk around the house with wrapping paper. What ever. But I don't know why he can't play with his room FULL of toys.
Easter 2011
Tyson LOVED Easter this year. He enjoyed the toys and M&M's that the Easter Bunny brought him. He LOVED the Easter egg hunts that we went to. And we went to a few. We enjoyed an Eater egg hunt with my family while my sister and her family was here from Nebraska. Then, we went to the Millville City egg hunt. Tyson get the golden egg in his age group and got a big chocolate bunny. We enjoyed going with Eric's family's easter egg hunt (and by we I mean Tyson and myself Eric was golfing - just a side note). He LOVED it there. He was in seventh heaven with the stairs, the other kids, the horses (from a distance), the car/bike thing, grandma, and Aunt Nanny. Then on Sunday he enjoyed his basket and wanted to take it with him to church. We had a small battle. After church we enjoyed going the "The Hill" to throw eggs down the hill. Tyson enjoyed it very much. Really he liked going up and down the hill and everyone was glad to leave because we were very tired from chasing him up and down the hill.

Outside Please
The last few days we have had some ok weather, finally. So, we have spent some time outside and Tyson has LOVED it. He has thrown fits when we have to come inside. Summer can't come fast enought. He has enjoyed feeding the ducks and also riding his little bike thing that I found at the DI for $2! Don't worry I may have cloroxed it a bit. But he loves it. That's all that matters right?
It's gone.

Cleaning with a little more cleaning
Tyson LOVES wet wipes. He really likes to suck on them. Gross I know. But I chose not to fight this battle. Although maybe I should. Anyway, I walked into the front room and found him cleaning his toys off. Then he grabbed one of Eric's golf clubs and decided that needed to be cleaned also. Much better choice on how to use wet wipes right? Tyson may have seen us cleaning these items a time or two or possibly a hundred times. But who's counting?
I heart Walgreens
So I went to Walgreens and bought these items. There is Sun detergent, Huggies diapers, Huggie wipes, 2 deodorants, and 2 floss pick things. And also not pictured (because someone had to open them and look thru them before I could take a picture) a pack of football cards. Guess how much I spent? Come one guess. A WHOOPING $9.95. That's right $9.95. I had lots of coupons. I was so excited!!!!! When I was taking the picture Tyson kept trying to get in the picture so I had to take a picture also. He might soon be for sale at Walgreens if he doesn't stop being a turd.

Look at me!
Look at this Eligible Bachelor! Tyson was so cute in this shirt. He wore it to Karla's on Valentines and loved the treats/valentines that he got. The most important treat was the suckers! He loves them. Tyson is growing up way to fast. He is now running everwhere instead of walking. He is into EVERYTHING. Our house always looks like a tornado hit. He is currently tyring to cut 6 teeth. He has had his bottom 2 teeth since he was about 11 or 12 months old. And about 3 weeks ago his top 2 molars cut through. Now he is working on 3 top teeth a bottom tooth and his 2 bottom molars. Now maybe he can eat more things and we can take away the bottle. I have been a little worried about taking away the bottle because he has had 2 teeth to eat with. There isn't a whole lot you can eat with only 2 teeth. And he hates a sippy. So, I was worried that he won't get enough to nutrients because he can't eat a whole lot and hates a sippy. So, now that he is growing more teeth maybe we get rid of the bottle.

18 Months Old
Tyson is 18 months old. Where has the time gone? Oh yeah, time flies when your CHASING him thoughout the house daily because he is into EVERYTHING. He would rather not play with toys and play in the bathroom with toilet paper or in the kitchen with the dishwasher soap or the pots and pans or any other dishes he can manage to pull out. His favorite is pulling the spoons out of the drawer and hitting me with them. Fun times. We took Tyson to the doctor yesterday for his 18 month check up and he weighs 24.5 pounds and is 31 inches long. He still only has his 2 bottom teeth. He his working on his top molars but they just barley cut through the other day. He still has a bottle. I think he might be going to pre school with it. He HATES sippy cups. And a normal cup he dumps it down him and then smells like sour milk all day. Fun times we are having. Also, on Sunday he went to the Nursery!! How exciting is 18 months??

Handsome Man
Merry Christmas
So once again I posted the pictures backwards sorry. Anyway, we had a great Christmas. Tyson LOVED unwrapping his presents. He didn't care what was inside the wrapping he was just excited to unwrap everything. His favorite thing was his horse. He rode that thing almost all day long and it still gets rode A LOT. I must have forgot to take a picture of all of his opened presents. He got a tonka dump truck, a farm animal set, a dinosaur set, an army man set, cloths, shoes, books (of course), some Barney DVD's (which we have watched about a thousand times), a play lap top thingy, and more that I can't remember. I think he got spoiled and loved it all. The wii in the picture was Eric's. And I got cloths, cloths, and a few more cloths.

Messy Boy
Tyson loves to feed himself. But most of the time, ok every time, we end up having to bath him because he makes such a mess. He LOVES to wipe whatever he is eating in his hair. It is lovely. Oh well, the many joys of having a child!! I should probably mention also that he did at one time have a bowl for his food. Tyson decided he didn't need it and dumped his food onto his tray and then dropped the bowl onto the floor. It was a joy to clean up.

Watch Out
Tyson is walking!! He has been for about 3 weeks now. He has had a few bumps and bruises from it but that is part of it right? He loves to walk around our house carrying things. He really loves this flag. What ever makes him happy. I took Tyson to the doc last friday because he has had a really bad cough. And he had this sore on his nose from walking when we went. I felt like an awesome person let me tell ya. The doctor questioned his sore. I told him it's from walking the doc says yeah I know how that works. I didn't know what that was suppose to mean but whatever. Then the same day with the same sore we go to the hospital for chest x-rays. Everyone there questioned his sore also. REALLY PEOPLE HE IS LEARNING TO WALK. Promise. Anyway back to his walking (sorry) he prefers to walk now everywhere that we go. I hope Santa brings him shoes for Christmas because he doesn't have any that fit right now. Tyson's favorite thing to do is walk the circle that is in our house. In the front room, to the kitchen, thru the bathroom, thru our bedroom and back to the front room. I bet he does this thousands of times a day. He gets distracted by the toilet and has to splash around a few times.
But he loves walking and is pretty good now. I guess he just had to show everyone it was on his time and no one elses.
